Private Sew Me Studio classes will teach all aspects of sewing and design at a speed that works around your schedule and learning style.
Beginner students learn the basics of safely operating a sewing machine. After the basics are mastered, new designers move on to using and modifying commercial and industrial patterns, using domestic and industrial sewing machines, sergers and cover-lock machines, and then designing and drafting their own patterns from scratch.
For advanced students, Sew Me Studio will work with you to refine and perfect your sewing and pattern manipulation skills. We can help you prepare your acceptance portfolio for a University fashion design program. In addition, we can provide coaching for your acceptance interview. We are also able to provide small business mentoring for emerging fashion brands.
There is tons of flexibility with private lessons!
Most students choose to come once or twice a week for 1-2 hours, depending on their goals and the amount of time they can commit to classes.
Students preparing for University Applications often choose to come 3-5 times a week.

There is no experience needed to start classes...you don't even have to own your own machine!!!

COST
$75 per hour + gst
plus a one time $30 registration fee on the first class
Please speak with the studio if you are interested in using your ASD or homeschool funding. We are happy to work on skills within a child's IEP and will complete any reports requested by the school, guardians or support workers showing the students personal growth and progress.
