A lifelong sewer and party dress aficionado, Kiara Farrant began her formal fashion studies at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. While completing her Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Technology, Kiara had the opportunity to work for the Vancouver fashion house Blushing Designs, as well as the iconic fashion boutique Hills of Kerrisdale, where she was both a personal shopper and manager for almost six years.

After the birth of her first son, Kiara founded Sew Me Studio in 2012. Being able pass on her love for design and sewing was a dream come true for Kiara!
