PRO D DAY CLASS

9:15am- 11:30am
Ages: 7-13 years old
$65 plus gst
Beginner students will do an introduction to using a sewing machine in a safe and professional manner. Students will learn to thread and operate their sewing machine safely with confidence, before moving on to choice of beginner projects.
Students with previous sewing experience will be offered a choice of several projects based on their skill level.
All materials and notions are included. Please bring a nut free snack.

DRAWING
FASHION & DRAWING WORKSHOP
STUDENTS LEARN AND GROW NEW FASHION DRAPING AND DRAWING SKILLS.
1 Day Fashion Drawing Workshop

Join us in the studio for fashion drawing. Students will learn new fashion drawing techniques and terminology. Each class will begin with a mannequin challenge and work on new drawing techniques.
All beginner and intermediate students welcome.
Please note there will be no sewing in this class as class time will focus on drawing and mannequin work.



KIDS SEWING AND DESIGN GROUP CLASSES
STUDENTS LEARN AND PRACTICE THEIR MACHINE AND HAND SEWING SKILLS IN A SAFE AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER. A VARIETY OF SKILL APPROPRIATE PROJECTS ARE OFFERED IN EACH SESSION INCLUDING SCRUNCHIES, STUFFIES, TOYS, ANIMALS, INFINITY SCARVES, CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES.

This multi-level class takes beginner sewers through an introduction of using a sewing machine in a safe and professional manner. Students will learn to thread their own sewing machine with confidence, seam allowances and new sewing terminology. Students will be given lots of opportunity to practice and improve their accuracy and will learn to use some of the basic features of their sewing machine while completing fun projects. All beginner materials included.
Intermediate students will be offered projects to choose from and will work at their own pace to bring their design ideas to life. Projects vary depending on skill level but can include stuffies, accessories and clothing. Intermediate students may need to provide their own fabric and or patterns.
Please bring a sewing machine and sewing kit including fabric and paper scissors, a stitch ripper, measuring tape and fabric chalk. If you don't have a sewing machine, please make arrangements with the studio when registering.
Intermediate and advanced students may need to provide their own patterns and fabric

Students will learn to thread their own sewing machine with confidence, seam allowances and new sewing terminology. Students will be given lots of opportunity to practice and improve their accuracy and learn to use some of the basic features of their sewing machine as they complete fun beginner projects like stuffies, scrunchies and a pin cushion. All beginner materials included.
Intermediate students will be offered projects to choose from and will work at their own pace. Projects included accessories, skirts, shorts and pj shorts, animal hats, sweatshirts and cardigans, housecoats and dresses. Intermediate students may need to provide their own patterns and fabric.
Advanced students will pick challenging projects that grow their skills and work towards their personal sewing goals. Students may be building a business, developing university applications and or bringing their advanced design ideas to life. Advanced students will need to provide their own patterns and fabric.
In addition to sewing, each session will have a unique topic that builds on the students understanding of the fashion industry. Past topics have included fabric content, fashion illustration, local and global fashion brands and the garment industries effect on the environment.
Students will be encouraged to expand their 2D and 3D design skills through design challenges and be given a fashion sketchbook to record and develop their ideas and inspiration.
All beginner materials included. Intermediate and advanced sewers may need to bring their own patterns and or fabric. Please bring a sewing machine and sewing kit including fabric and paper scissors, a stitch ripper, fabric chalk and measuring tape.
If you don't have a sewing machine, please make arrangements with the studio when registering.






TEEN GROUP CLASSES
STUDENTS 14 YEARS AND OLDER LEARN AND PERFECT THEIR MACHINE AND HAND SEWING SKILLS IN A SAFE AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER. A VARIETY OF PROJECTS ARE OFFERED AND STUDENTS ARE GIVEN AS MUCH CREATIVE FREEDOM AS THEIR SKILL LEVEL ALLOWS. PROJECTS INCLUDE SCRUNCHIES, SMALL ZIPPERED POUCHES, INFINITY SCARVES, CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES.
