1 DAY WORKSHOPS
Please carefully read our COVID policies:
1) Students must stay home if they have any symptoms of a cold, flu or are coughing/sneezing or have a fever for any reason.
2) Parents, siblings or friends are not permitted in the studio but are welcome to watch on the deck.
3) Face to face group classes will have a maximum of 5 students plus instructor.
4) All surfaces will be cleaned between classes.
5) Students will be required to bring their own sewing kit to classes including fabric and paper scissors to minimize sharing of tools.
6) Students will wash hands before class starts.
7) Sanitizer will be available.
8) ALL in person classes will be moved immediately to Zoom if public school is cancelled and or it is deemed necessary by the public health authorities or the studio. Should this happen, classes will continue on the same day and time, and the studio will make arrangements to deliver all supplies to a South Surrey location. The curriculum will be adapted if needed to accommodate hand sewing for students who do not have home access to a sewing machine.
9) All students agree to notify the studio immediately should they have any Covid related health concerns or be required to quarantine.
10) Students and their family agree to not hold the studio responsible for attending face to face classes at this time.
KIDS ZOOM HALLOWEEN GHOST PILLOW Workshop
(for hand or machine sewers)
Friday October 30th
4:00pm-6:00pm
Ages: 5+ years
Cost: $40 +tax
In this 1 day Zoom workshop, designers will create and sew a Halloween ghost stuffy/pillow. This class is for hand sewing or machine sewing students, however, please note this class will not cover an introduction to using a sewing machine so students wanting to use their sewing machine must be comfortable and independent on their machine.
Parent participation may be required for younger students as they learn to tie knots but the goal is to have Little Designers working independently during class time.
*All materials, hand sewing needles, thread and supplies are included and will be available to pick up at the studio on or before Thursday October 29th.
*Not included, child sized fabric scissors which will be needed for this class. For an additional $10 plus tax we will provide this item in your kit.

KIDS STUDIO HALLOWEEN MASK

In this 1 day studio workshop, designers will create and sew a Halloween, cat or super hero mask. This class is for hand sewing or machine sewing students, however please note this class will not cover an introduction to threading a sewing machine so students who would like to use their sewing machine must be comfortable and independent on their machine. Students without previous machine sewing experience will complete this project practicing their hand sewing skills.
All materials, thread and supplies are included but students must have a sewing machine and basic sewing kit (including child sized fabric scissors, a stitch ripper, fabric chalk and pins). If you do not have a sewing machine, please let the studio know when you are registering and we will be happy to provide one!

ADULT SCRUNCHIE WORKSHOP
Friday October 30th
6:30-8:30pm
Cost: $60 +tax
In this 1 day studio workshop, sewers will design, cut and sew 2 scrunchies in fabrics of their choice. This class is for beginner machine sewing students who want to grow their skills. Please note this class will not cover an introduction to using a sewing machine so students must have taken a class before and be comfortable threading and using the basic features on their sewing machine.
All materials, thread and supplies are included but students must have a sewing machine and basic sewing kit (including fabric scissors, a stitch ripper, fabric chalk and pins). If you do not have a sewing machine, please let the studio know when you are registering and we will be happy to provide one!
